Getting stuck off-road isn't necessarily a sign that you did something wrong. Mud, sand, snow, loose rock, steep climbs and technical obstacles are simply part of exploring beyond the pavement.

The difference between a minor inconvenience and a major problem often comes down to two things: having the right off-road recovery gear and knowing how to use it safely.
